WHAT THIS IS ABOUT This one-day workshop will provide a detailed overview of the process required to manage federally and state-funded transportation projects. It is mandatory for any local government that hopes to manage such a project in the future. It is strongly recommended for any local government that is currently managing such a project. Failure to follow procedures included in this workshop can jeopardize the receipt of federal or state funding for your eligible transportation projects.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This course should be of interest to county personnel who manage or who are interested in learning more about the ways to manage federally and state-funded transportation projects. Attendees are limited to counties in TODT Region 3 and Region 4 areas. Future workshops will be added for the rest of the counties in Tennessee.

WHAT THIS IS ABOUT TDOT is holding a class in the right-of-way process. Any county that thinks it might acquire land for a federal or state project and who did not attend the right-of-way class held in May and June 2007 are REQUIRED to take this class
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Any county highway official that might acquire land for a federal or state project and did not attend this class in May or June 2007 must take this class.

ROAD SAFETY AUDITS Sponsored by TTAP, TDOT, FHWA
This course will introduce participants to the concept of Road Safety Audits (RSA’s) with an emphasis on the application of RSA’s to locally maintained roadways.
This workshop is intended for local employees and elected officials who are involved in the maintenance, operation, and funding of streets and highways.
There are 5 training opportunities available. All classes begin at 8:30 a.m. local time and adjourn by 3:30 p.m. This course is free to County Highway Officials. Click here for registration form.
